Characters of the Truthseeker's Quest - Mirus
Birthplace: Country of Azer-Lucidium, City Unknown
Aspectral Power: Aspect of Spectral Replication
Bio: For as long as Mirus could remember, a deep, ugly black birthmark cut across the center of the palms of his hands. It was a source of much ridicule and frustration for him in the orphanage he grew up in. Yet the one he always could rely on, the one who always had his back was his best friend Titus, who fought along side him (with the occasional one between them) as his brother. They were inseparable, and as fortune would have it, they were adopted under the same family, the Horomans, a wealthy couple who had no children of their own. Life went from one of hardship to one of plenty.
But something happened when they reached their teens, something that Mirus can't quite remember. Whatever it was that happened, it turned the palms of his hands wrinkled and rough and black, and something in his brother... changed. They grew apart, though they still cared for each other and had each other's backs, even then.
It was then that Titus came to his brother in a wave of excitement, telling him about a group of people who had said and done amazing things, who moved hearts and reached out to the lost and needy. In his brother's excitement, Mirus saw the old Titus, the one he had before... the fight. Out of curiosity, he followed him, if nothing else to see what this was all about.
It was that decision that changed their lives forever.
